After twenty-seven years in youth ministry, Randy DonGiovanni believes that chasing after cultural relevancy in youth ministry is...irrelevant to the Kingdom of Christ. He believes that youth ministry ought to be evaluated not by how trendy or hip we can make the gospel but by the Gospel itself. "We need to stop chasing the approval of fifteen year olds. We need to love them and lead them to the source of that love, even if that runs against the current of everything they value." We need to teach them about Jesus.
